Four-year-old Jimmie and his dad decide to leave Sweden and start a journey to a safer country. Told from a child’s perspective, fragments of the refugee family’s journey are shown. Dad and Jimmie take an inflatable boat over the black water, hike along rail tracks and hope for the kindness of strangers to get where they’re going; a place of safety.
