Dr. Sinisa Grgic Bookrelease for Ambassadors

Ambassador Siniša Grgić Presents Over 100 Unique Titles to Fellow Diplomats in Stockholm

In what is believed to be the first event of its kind in diplomatic history, Croatia’s Ambassador to Sweden personally gifted each fellow ambassador a custom book dedicated to the bilateral relationship between Sweden and their country.

Dr. Siniša Grgić, Ambassador of Croatia to Sweden and Latvia, and Dean of the Diplomatic Corps in Stockholm, hosted an event at Näringslivets Hus (the Confederation of Swedish Enterprise) on Storgatan in Stockholm, where he presented over 100 unique editions of his Bilateral Navigator book series to the assembled diplomatic community.

Each book is a standalone 350-page large size full color hardcover publication dedicated to a specific bilateral relationship between Sweden and one other country. Ambassadors and heads of mission received, as a personal gift from Ambassador Grgić, the edition covering Sweden and their own country. The books were produced and printed at the Ambassador’s personal expense.

The event was organized during a general meeting of the diplomatic corps, drawing representatives from approximately 70 embassies, mostly ambassadors, accredited to Sweden. Cawa Media was in attendance.

A Publishing Project of Unprecedented Scale
Bilateral Navigator is a large-scale publishing and research project that produces premium country-to-country comparison books for bilateral pairs among the 193 United Nations member states. Each edition compares two countries across dozens of structured chapters covering areas such as governance, economy, culture, demographics, geography, defence, and international cooperation, and includes short contributions from recognized professionals whose careers connect the two countries.

Ambassador Grgić is the author of the entire series. The Stockholm presentation is believed to be the first time a single author has simultaneously released over 100 distinct book titles at a single event, each one a complete, self-contained publication. The editions presented in Stockholm all share Sweden as one of the two countries covered, with the other country matching each recipient’s home nation.

A Gift for the Diplomatic Community
Speaking at the event, Ambassador Grgić described the books as a personal gift to his colleagues and a contribution to strengthening bilateral understanding. The Bilateral Navigator series is designed to serve as a practical reference for diplomats, business leaders, public institutions, and professionals engaged in cross-border cooperation.

The project also invites recognized professionals from around the world to contribute short expert perspectives to the editions relevant to their careers, offering a unique platform for cross-border professional insight.
