Northern Cyprus (Turkish: Kuzey Kıbrıs), formally the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) (Turkish: Kuzey Kıbrıs Türk Cumhuriyeti), is a self-proclaimed state in the northern part of the island of Cyprus. It is recognized as an independent state only by Turkey, while the rest of the world considers it part of the Republic of Cyprus.

Northern Cyprus extends from the tip of the Karpathos Peninsula in the northeast to Kólpos Mórfou and Akrotírio Kormakítis in the west and Louroujina in the south. The exclave of Kókkina forms its westernmost part. The so-called Green Line, which is a buffer zone under United Nations control, runs along the border between Northern Cyprus and the rest of Cyprus, and divides Nicosia, the island’s largest city and capital on both sides of the line, into two parts.

A warm welcome is extended to celebrate this cultural milestone, featuring traditional highlights, distinguished guests,
and an opportunity to strengthen our mutual ties.
