IWC celebration of International Women’s Day on March 8th, 2024.

We was welcome to the Golden Foyer of the Royal Opera House Kungliga Operan for a luncheon with inspiring women – both in speech, from the guest of honour Kerstin Lundgren, Third Deputy Speaker of the Swedish Parliament/ Sveriges riksdag as well as musically that was presented with a concert by Kati Raitinen (cello) and Inese Klotina (piano) from the Royal Swedish Opera Orchestra as they performed “Grande Sonate Dramatique” by French composer Rita Strohl (1865-1941). The Royal Swedish Opera is Sweden’s national theatre for opera and ballet, founded by Gustav III in 1773.

The CEO of the Royal Swedish Opera Fredrik Lindgren told welcome to all women and Cecilia Canemyr, Project Manager, Philanthropy and Partnership, the Royal Swedish Opera told more about the Royal Opera’s Instrumental Fund to which part of the set lunch fee was contributed.

Menu: Vitello tonnato (thinly sliced veal roast beef with tuna mash), fried, capers, mixed salad, roasted onion and potatoes.(Free from gluten and lactose.) This includes bread, coffee and tea with an Italian almond cake for dessert.
