On the 1st of November 2022 at Odd Fellows in Stockholm there was a lunch with Dame Graça Machel, Nelson Mandela’s widow. Knighted by Queen Elizabeth II. She gave an interesting lecture: Quote- ¨”We cannot address decision makers with 100 fragmented voices, we need to build a common voice, to influence structural and policy change”

The GM Trust was founded in 2020 and is a Pan-American, Public benefit organization that tackles structural barriers to change the way public and private institutions address women and children’s right.

She has her headquarters in Johannesburg with a satellite presence in Nairobi, and a footprint in 17 countries across the continent through their woman networks.

The IWC Stockholm President Mrs. Margareta Eidensten told welcome to the guests, honorary consul Mr. Johan Stenberg, H.E. Mrs. Graça Machel, and honorary consul Mr. Sverker Littorin.

During the luncheon we all enjoyed the voice of Charlotta Huldt-Ramberg who is a leading Swedish opera singer.
