The Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Sweden invited Cawa Media on November 22nd to the Royal Music School of Stockholm for a Korean Jazz Night 2016.

LEE HAN EARL TRIO Han-Earl Lee – Piano, Hoo Kim – Bass, Soo Jin Suh – Drums

Lee Han-Earl trio plays the music of pianist’s Han-Earl lee, who studied in Germany, that blends the elements of European jazz lyricism, contemporary music and jazz.

Bassist Hoo Kim and drummer Soo Jin Suh fills up Han-Earl Lee’s music beautifully with their sensitive and excellent performance.

Their acclaimed first album ”Unwissend” has warmth and coldness at the same time and its music express loneliness and unfamiliarity.

EUNGMIN CHO QUARTET Eung Min Cho – Guitar, Yongjun Chon – Piano, Dongha Shin – Double Bass, Dongjin Shin – Drums

Eung Min Cho Quartet is a jazz guitar quartet playing modern and lyrical music.

Eung Min published his debut album ”Oriental Fairy Tale” in 2015, and he was awarded ”Korean Music Awards”which is a very prestigious award in Korea, and was well received good presses from the critics, and listeners.

He also played at numerous occasions including ”Jarasum Island Jazz Festival”, ”Never on Stage”, ”EBS Space Gong Gam” which are renowned music festivals and concerts in Korea.

During the ”Korean Jazz Night”, he is going to play with the same members who participated in his album, and is going to introduce his original tunes which will present new aspects in Korean Jazz scene.
