Uzbekistan’s Constitution and National Day in Stockholm
Uzbekistan’s Constitution was adopted on December 8, 1992, at the country’s 11th Council Session, replacing the previous 1978 Constitution. It serves as the supreme law of the Republic of Uzbekistan (Article 15). The Constitution is structured into six sections and 26 chapters.

The reception opened with a mugham performance by the Uzbek singing artist, and a presentation of the Uzbek Cultural Center at the embassy. Guests were also treated to a large buffet of traditional Uzbek cuisine on Friday, August 29, 2025.
