The 3rd of December 2024 we celebrated the spirit of togetherness. We joined the traditional Christmas lunch of the International Women Club for a joyous feast filled with love, laughter and the joy of the season.

To celebrate the festive season the IWC invited a Lucia choir from Nordiska Musikgymnasiet who performed traditional Swedish Lucia-songs. Speakers were Björn Schönmeyr, Sarah Nassaji, Johanna Spetz from Operation Smile.

Date : 3 December, 2024 – Traditional/music and mingle with glögg. Welcome speech by the President Ann-Louice Dahlgren followed by lunch. Nordiska Musikgymnasiet Santa Lucia choir, Christmas songs and music by Marina Johansson and pianist Måns Ek. As of tradition there was a charity lottery and raffle during the luncheon where all revenues this year go directly to the non-profit organization Operation Smile.

Lottery draw by our Philandtropic Chair, Mary Borremeo-Hedfors. The president Ann-Louice Dahlgren welcomed all the guests and all were treated to everything from celebrating Lucia to Christmas carols and Tina Turner songs as well as raffles with nice prizes. Special guests El Salvador’s ambassador Patricia GODINEZ AGUILLON, with Hanna Hesser Nordin, Margareta Eidensten. 

This event was joined by husbands, spouses, partners and friends both male and female for a memorable meal and share quality time together as well. IWC where absolutely delighted to see everyone and to create another beautiful memory together! See Cawa Medi’s pictures here:
