Art & Jewel Exhibition with Horacio Ramirez-Achinelli – Björg Hvanndal de Achinelli at the Embassy of the Argentine Republic in Stockholm, Sweden. 8th of November, 2023.

Horacio A Ramirez-Achinelli has been devoted to fine arts, painting and sculpture since an early age. For 40 years he has been dedicated to precious stones in particular rhodochrosite, which is found as a precious stone in Argentina. He has achieved broad international recognition and his designs and unique pieces  have been commissioned by the White House and the Vatican. In 2014 Ramirez-Achinelli was commissioned by Msgr Anders Arborelius, Bishop of Stockholm to create an extraordinary sculpture, as a gift for Pope Francis. Horacio A. Ramirez Achinelli’s work is a reflection of classic and modern design. Each sculpture and piece of jewelry is unique and it is of great importance to follow the lines and nature of each material. He resides in Stockholm and works by appointment to create one of a kind high end fine jewelry and sculptures.

Horacio A. Ramirez Achinelli was born in La Plata, Argentina and studied at the National School of Fine Arts in the University of La Plata, Buenos Aires, Argentina. Since an early age he has been devoted to fine arts, painting and sculpture. He is specially attracted to precious stones, of which he extracts  the best structures. For 40 years he has been devoted to study precious stones, from the search in the terrain into its elaboration. His major field is Rhodochrosite, which is found as a precious stone in Argentina.

He resides in Stockholm and works by appointment to create one of a kind fine jewelry and sculptures.
